How Beat SATs helps

Four everyday ways to make after-school learning clearer.

Start with one useful activity, practise exact school spellings, build times-table fluency and check progress without watching every answer.

01 · Everyday routine

“What should we do today?”

Open Home and start with one clear activity.

A new learner begins with a balanced Quest. After some learning is completed, Home can suggest a focused skill or review and explain why it is useful.

  • Choose 10 focused questions or a 20-question Quest.
  • Continue an unfinished activity from the same place.
  • After a mistake, use a hint, retry and worked method. A fresh same-skill question follows when an exact match is available.

02 · Spelling Lab

“The spelling test is on Friday.”

Use this week’s exact school words.

Paste up to 30 spellings, add the test date if it is known, then use Look–Cover–Spell or take a full test. Every answer is marked automatically.

  • Keep school lists separate from Beat SATs spelling mixes.
  • Practise the same words across different days.
  • Choose words from finished school lists to review again.

“Which table should we practise next?”

Build accuracy first, then fluent recall.

Choose one or several tables and practise multiplication, related division or a balanced mix. Learn mode gives immediate feedback before timed practice.

  • Choose any table available for the learner’s year.
  • Get a suggested table after there is learning to use.
  • Keep Learn mode, Quick Recall and Year 4 multiplication-check scores separate.
